About

The Write Agency brings publishing and screen adaptation into the same conversation. A literary and film representation agency in India, we work with authors who want to develop a manuscript, approach publishers or consider a screen adaptation of their book.

As a division of Hubhawks India, we are part of a wider business working across books, publishing and storytelling. That connection informs how we look at a book: what the author wants to say, who might respond to it and which opportunities are worth pursuing.

Our editorial assistance and manuscript editing services give authors a considered outside perspective on their work. Through literary representation, we help books reach suitable publishers and represent authors through the discussions that follow.

For book-to-screen representation, we consider how a story could translate into a film or series, then introduce it to relevant producers, studios and OTT platforms. We prepare the material for those conversations and handle adaptation rights discussions on the author’s behalf.

We begin with the book and a conversation with its author. Understanding both helps us make thoughtful decisions about what comes next.
